In 2009, the Rams drafted a QB named Keith Null in the 6th round. I thought he played decent when he started later in the season. Hell, I wanted him to be the starter in 2010 so the Rams could draft Suh.

Now, I'm not saying Stanzi is going to end up like Null, but it's hit or miss on late round QBs.

Until today, i thought it would be best to let the kid sit & learn for a year... but at worst, he wont be any worse than the one they call Cassel.

You're not honest. There are plenty of times when receivers are open. The problem is Cassel hardly ever progresses to his second option. Sometimes he does manage to throw to an open receiver but the throw is late, in the dirt, 5 feet over their head, or out of bounds.

The two glaring ones were Urban & Bowe both being wide open for good yardage while Cassel did his usual laser lock on the other side of the field.

Its like he only see's half the field & on those occasions he does find someone deep... he doesnt pull the trigger 'cause he knows his arm sux.
