If we draft a guard, it's to start opposite Allen.

Linkenbach's on a one-year deal for dirt ****ing cheap. That's not the kind of offer you make to a starter. Geoff Schwartz at least got more than a cool million to play for one season. And if Dorsey did bring him aboard because he viewed him as a dirt cheap starting option, why didn't he try to bring him aboard for multiple seasons? Christ, he did that with Dunta Robinson. Get some goddamn continuity on this team.

Linkenbach is NOT going to be our starter. He's there to be a reserve. That's ****ing it.

Sorry if you hate Allen. I'm not an Allen supporter, but for ****'s sake, this team has way bigger fish to fry than quelling about Allen's missing the horizon of expectations. Jeff Allen is the starter at LG next year like it or not. And Linkenbach (if injuries don't screw us over) will ideally not see the field for one single goddamn meaningful offensive snap.

Rishaw Johnson is the starter. Get used to it.

I wouldn't discount Roke Watkins either. Guy was a former first team All-SEC player (2011) and has skills. If he decides to show up and dedicate himself, he's a pretty talented guy with a lot of upside.
