Kinda makes sense, if you ask me.
The Broncos obviously didn't see Manning as the guy anymore, being they asked him to take a significant paycut to stay....and Manning asked for a no trade clause with the new deal. It's very possible they tried to trade him and teams that would trade for him didn't want him at 20m. |
