You guys are right. We should draft Mr. Stare-down #1 overall.
Reid knows this QB class isn't special. He's not stupid. You could hear it in his voice. "Just because you have the first pick doesn't mean you have to force the pick." |

Oh...You mean after he was asked how he would get a franchise QB and he answered "We've been blessed with the number 1 pick" ?

Maybe the Bucs GM and HC are/is just stupid. We let Carr go, etc.
That said, still would rather draft our own first rounder and Geno. But like Chiefscountry said, if they would give us him, plus their first and a 2, for our 1, it would be somewhat intriguing. Clay, what are your thoughts on this? You have always been a big fan of his. |

I really don't know personally I wouldn't go for Freeman. I want a QB number 1 overall. but if coach Andy Reid wants Josh Freeman, then I bet Josh Freeman is going to be a very serviceable quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs if not more than that.

If Freeman comes here, you ask yourself one question:
Who's smarter, the braintrust of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, or Andy Reid?

People need to remember that when Reid drafted McNabb, he was a very raw talent who didn't have the best completion percentage.
Look at what Reid did with him. |

Lots of reasons. If we do trade for Freeman, it says that Reid thinks that Freeman can be just as good in his WCO than any rookie in this class.
Plus you get draft picks with your purchase to help build your team. Josh Freeman would throw 30 or more TD's in Reid's offense. I have no question about it. And his fumbling problems are very coachable. |

If anything, this makes it make more sense to draft Geno.
