Music from the 40s and older. Jimmy/Tommy Dorsey, Louis Armstrong, Lee Brown. These guys are fantastic. Anyone else a fan, or have some suggestions for me to check up on? I especially like the instrumental and mellow stuff. And I love the swing.

I am also a HUGE fan of swing music, served as a board member for the Wichita Swing Dance Society, and have been a part of the dance scene here for 13 years now.

Thanks. I've heard a lot of talk around here about you not being good for anything, but this changes all that. I'm printing off your list, and the list that I found on XMFan.com that gives each song they have, and checking out some CDs from the uni. library tomorrow, and ripping them to my hard drive. No worries... I love the stuff and any knowledge I can share with others is not a problem at all.

I currently have 11.2Gb of the stuff sitting in my hard drive. Still need to dig through and delete some duplicates but I should have a solid 10.5Gb or so once I am done.

I do a weekly radio show from 7-9 on Weds and I play nothing but swing.
