and how is his play in 2011 a better indicator of what player he is opposed to his play in 2012? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.
Sean Smith was thrown to more than any other CB in the nfl and only came down with 2 INTs. He gave up the 2nd most TD's in the nfl, would've been more of Sanchez was able to hit his wide open targets.

Still not a good tackler, has a big ego, guesses a lot and guesses wrong. Wouldn't be a big deal if he was more physical, but he isn't. All in all, not worth his contract.

He's ****ing garbage.

Either way, both years, 700+ yards allowed. Pretty sad.
2011 stats are a better indicator than 2012 stats when he started and played 16 games both seasons?

...

I'd really like to hear the reasoning behind this conclusion. I'm sure it will make plenty of sense.

I didn't "juke" shit.

Post a screenshot of the 2012 rankings then. No reason not to.

I don't know a whole lot about Sean Smith. I'm not saying he doesn't suck.

Whatever.

I'm not against the Chiefs signing players and spending money. Doesn't bother me a bit. I also fail to see how Smith, Robinson, DeVito and Avery are 'team breakers'...pretty sure if they bust we can cut them, move on, and take minimal cap hits.

Who cares? We have money. Spend it.

Let me be very clear for you.

The guy allowed the same number of yards both seasons.

Dolphins fans say he's ****ing garbage.

Therefore, I think 2011 is the best indicator of who he is.

Especially when his 2012 rating was only saved by two good games.

not to mention the fact

our ****ing scheme sucked last year

our scheme made Eric Berry look average at best

who's to say some of these guys won't be better players in different schemes?

Shit...we're spending money. Didn't the complaint used to be 'omg we're too cheap!'

now that we're spending a bit of money trying to improve the roster where we are weak suddenly it's 'omg we're spending too much money!'

Because Derek Cox, a better CB, could've been had for less. And now he's going to a rival.

I don't mind them spending money either, but when they spend money on hot garbage and give him what, 11mil guaranteed? You're just wasting it.

I'm fine with the Chiefs spending money.

I'm not fine with them spending it a pair of shitty Smiths.

Cool. So he's capable of having good games. Maybe he can be more consistent in KC.

Maybe he won't.

Hardly care...we're bringing in competition to the spots we were weak at in '12. Cool.

well I'll shoot Clark an email telling him he either needs to hire OTWP and GoChiefs as his co-GM's or at least pay for a PFF membership since those stats are gospel...PHIL EMERY SAID SO!!!

The fact that he refuses to post the 2012 rankings is a pretty good indication that Smith was ranked fairly well last year.
