Alex Smith Traded to Chiefs

Well, it looks like the deal is done.

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
49ers have completed a trade with the Chiefs for Alex Smith, tho can't be official til March 12. Chiefs really made a commitment to Smith

Jay Glazer @JayGlazer
Deal has been agreed upon between Chiefs and 49ers. Compensation unclear but I'm told again Chiefs have made a clear commitment to Smith.

It doesn't matter if Alex Smith wins 3 straight Super Bowls or if he dies in a fire on his first snap of Game 1.

It was the wrong decision. Wrong compensation. Wrong draft. Wrong team.

It was a giant abortion of a trade that made our #1 overall pick worthless, negatively affected fan morale in a huge way, and played right into the 49ers' hands. If Alex Smith turns out to be a very good QB in Kansas City, the history and statistics show it will be totally unprecedented.

Youtube Vernon davis 2009 highlights..

All they did with Vernon until 2011 (until Jim Harbaugh came to town) was make Vernon run 40 yards down the field and have Alex bomb him the ball

haha.. so true. People will always complain about him. People judge Alex on his past way too often. He should be judged on what he has done the last 2 to 3 years

Honestly, Smith squirting the ball from his butt will be more entertaining than what we have seen on the field since Thigpin.

If we get foles as well, then I love this Alex trade even more. see you guys are sick of the chiefs picking up somebody's backup every year, but this year we're going for 2 backups at once. That's totally not the same old thing.

Lol I thought he was being sarcastic.
He really believes it's a failed trade even if Alex wins 3 straight superbowls? Great logic.
