Which backup QB....
would you want to obtain if the Chiefs had to option to trade for any backup QB in the NFL. However in this scenario, the backup cannot currently be a rookie in the NFL.

I figured since it is the off-season and we are the shitty Chiefs franchise, we are destined to discussing backup QBs.

I think this would be an interesting discussion topic for this board since we know management would never go after a starting QB.

Discuss.

probably all backups in this league would be an upgrade over what we have now. But who cares, we're drafting the top QB in the 2013 draft.

But I think the OP was getting at is who's backup do you like better than any of our options,
In no particular order for starters
T.J. Yates
Colin Kaepernick
Kirk Cousins
Kyle Orton
Matt Hasselbeck or Jake Locker
Matt Flynn
I am sure there is more if I dig deeper.

While a slight exaggeration a solid case can be made that a 1/3 of the league has a better backup situation than we have starting.
1/3 is a horrific number.
At worst it should be a 1/3 of the league has a better starter option..NOT backup better than our starter.
