Playstation 4 price and Xbox 720 is announced

It's probably not a problem or gripe for most people, but I personally would like to be able to dig further into all the available titles. I typically will from time to time just do a search through a bunch of the choices and add 10-15 things to my list that catch my eye. Doesn't mean I'll watch them all but I can revisit it at a later date.

Netflix and Amazon instant have basically become or will become like HBO and Showtime. The movie studios only allow them new movies months after the rental/sell through market has closed.

So they being forced to create original series now to try and seperate themselves.

Xbox One is now back in stock on Amazon, if you've been trying to get one for yourself or as a gift. Better act quickly, though, as the last few times they've made it available, it went out of stock again in just hours.

My 360 fails to read games any games now... and I know its the hardware.

I was planning on getting the ps4 in the spring, but now I'm trying to act fast. I'm not dead set on the PS4.. Always been an xbox guy, but really can't justify paying $100 more. But then again, there's not really any playstation exclusives that excite me. What would you guys do in my shoes?

And also where is the best place to get a playstation now? I tried calling walmart's and best buys and they were all out, but did give me the day shipments usually come in to try again

Do you have a lot of friends that you game with online? If no, PC. I'm serious and not being a douche. I no longer having a gaming rig, but I miss the shit out of it. You can play so much shit on them, not to mention it is still a computer or media server, etc.

There is an info graphic I can't find right now, but it breaks down the short term and long term savings for PC, which the PC comes out way ahead. If you want to go the very cheap route you can torrent games or you can torrent games, try them out like a rental, then go out and support the developers buy purchasing the game.

The majority of my friends game on XBOX and have stuck with it this time around. Seeing as I do not watch cable, that aspect does not appeal to me. I had three 360s fail on me, and regardless if the XBOX one fails far less, they lost any respect I had for them last time around, and then throw in all the shit they tried to pull before release, and that more or less did it for me.

I am no fan boi, either. I loved gaming on the 360 when it worked. Playing MW2 with a full team of my buddies was some of the most fun I have ever had with friends. We were utterly dominant. In the end most of them are pissed at me because I am going to jump ship to the PS4. I believe it is going to be the better console in the coming years, not to mention I am a bit more frugal than they are.

The indie development excites me, and honestly DayZ coming to PS4 is ****ing awesome. Just check out some videos online of that game. I honestly may not play any other game when I buy the PS4. My bad on such a long post. Just all my opinion obviously.

Hmm. Yeah I never really got into PC gaming, and I am definitely sticking to console. Just my preference, and theres no talking me out of it. Most of my friends are also jumping ship to PS4, but a bunch of us just went back and played Halo 3 this weekend and man I forgot how much I loved that game. I had ODST and Halo 4 but they just weren't the same, and I don't think it's worth sticking with Xbox for.

Exclusives for both consoles are shit right now. In the long run though, I generally like PlayStations exclusives. Got a PS4 already, but probably won't own a game until Infamous: Second Son releases. Seems stupid I know, but of all the games available for both consoles, how many were developed exclusively for the next generation of consoles?

Look at all the titles that are coming out and make the decision that best suits you. For PS4 you have Infamous Second Son coming in spring and for Xbox you have Titanfall, past that it's all just what fits your tastes. Both systems will get Destiny and other third party games so it's really all about your preferences. I'll be getting a PS4 with my taxes but I really enjoy my Xbox One right now and I'm sure the PS4 will be equally as great.
