does anyone know why mlb the show always lags online to the point where u cant even play it? You would think Sony would get their heads out of their asses and fix their servers

The truth is that Sony has horrible servers for online play. Thats why its free though. It is what it is.

I am just waiting for God of War 3.

So, i have finally got around to actually giving Resistance a real try. I am really liking the game. I think its pretty damned cool. If Killzone 2 is better then this. Count me in.

Anyone played Uncharted? Pretty good game. Although, for $60, I should get more than 11 hours of game time.

Yeah, a lot of people call Uncharted the best exclusive so far for the platform. Wait until you guys see Resistance 2. It's scheduled for this fall, gonna have something like 60 player online matches and 8 person co-op missions.

Uncharted is definitely a cool game, but it's not long enough. I've got less than 10 hours of game time on it and am 92 percent done.

I usually buy used games. I have a couple of buddies close by that also PS3's and we just swap games. I only pay for every 3rd game or so.

You have, very very few games are long now days. IF they make a game huge. It has to be a huge seller. If its not going to be a huge seller, they arent going to make some huge game and lose money or even break even.

Only having to go $200 out of pocket, I bought a PS3 today.

I won't be able to play a game until tonight, but my first impression is that the interface is very slick. It seems improved since the last time I saw it on the PSP.

I do need to find out what is causing horrifically slow downloads, though. Even taking the router out of the equation and directly connecting to the modem, my PS3 takes ages to download anything.

2k confirmed that they are porting Bioshock over to the PS3. So you PS3 owners will soon have a chance to experience Rapture.

BioShock Confirmed for PS3
Would you kindly believe the rumors now?
By Michael Donahoe, 05/22/2008
Cue the I-told-you-so's -- the everlasting rumor about last year's Xbox 360 hit BioShock popping up on the PS3 turns out to be true. According to the July issue of EGM, publisher 2K Games has confirmed that the underwater shooter is making the transition to Sony's shores.

Still don't believe us? Well, if you catch yourself a copy of the July issue (hitting subscribers as we speak, and on newsstands on June 3), you'll get the full scoop on how the Xbox 360 will translate (including some potential graphical improvements) in time for the 2008 holiday season.

Along with a chat with BioShock's new creative director Jordan Thomas (taking over the sunken series from creator Ken Levine), EGM has the first screens and info, including some fishy details about the future of Rapture.
