But I doubt even something like death will be able to stop him from writing! I can wait to read his first post mortem novel....Dead Storm Rising. It will put the walking dead and world war Z to shame!

Wouldn't surprise me. He had ghost writers for most of his later work.

I'm probably going to be in the minority here but, I have to say Baldwin. He fits the analyst bill better than Ford IMHO.

I'd go with Baldwin as well. Red October was the best movie. Although I really liked Clear and Present Danger. The one with Affleck sucked. The first one with Ford sucked.

Clancy definitely knew a lot of "inside" stuff in his early years. I haven't read a Clancy book in a long time tho.

As much as I love Harrison Ford, Baldwin nailed the roll, and had perfect chemistry with Connery.

Red October is my favorite film, and my favorite book of his as well.
