Since I am retired and the wife being 10 yrs. younger is still working, I pretty much do it all, cooking, cleaning and yardwork.
being crippled in the hands and back all of the car stuff is done by pro's
I do however get the boat out quite often.

Do you find that being under house arrest gives you more time to do chores?

Changing light bulbs and the litter box and making sure the vehicles make it in for an oil change.

We have an agreement that whoever gets out of bed lasts gets to make it.

Basically all of the above. I'm single but do not have any kids or pets to take care of. I live in an apartment, so general maintenance is done by the complex. Other than that, it is me, myself, and I!!

I keep up the auto maintenance, do the yard work, and the grocery shopping.
The wife does everything else.

Since I live alone, I do absolutely nothing. Shovel the hovel every couple of months when it's piled too high to walk. Buy new dishes and pans. New clothes. That's usually about the time I bathe, too.
