Computers Web geeks: Help needed!

Hello All! I was going to attempt to build a photography website for my wife today. I have a few ideas and I've canvased a few sites, but I was wondering if there is any particular site you guys have had particular success with. I'm especially interested in sites that will not take forever to load pics, etc...

use word press. Tons of templates, easy to install, and easy to modify to fit your needs. There is also tons of plug-ins to add a gallery functions, etc.

I built my website off that design www.steerplanet.com

Here's what I use for my websites and I have no complaints:

They offer neat little templates to make life easier which I'm sure you can customize.

for hosting I recommend icdsoft.com

I have about 15 websites through them and I also host about 5 websites myself off a server in my office. For the cost it is almost not worth the hassle to host them myself.

If you are going with word press you need a server running linux as opposed to windows
