Off Season Lets Talk Guns

Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.

Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?

Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware?

I checked those out when looking for my CC gun, but decided on the XDs instead. I liked the Nano, but I liked the safety features on the XDs and it just felt better in my hand. Grab-a-gun has the XDs for $385 right now.

Did you get both front and rear sights? I'd really love to put some fiber optic sights on my Glock but there's all sorts of different options for sights and I'm kind of in a "too much to choose from" situation right now and can't make up my mind.

Damn...$385? back in 2010, I bought my sub compact XD .40 for $600...I like the sub, but cannot carry it w/o the grip extender on the magazine.

It was $599 not six months ago and I couldn't bring myself to buy at that price. Glad I waited.

That looks nice. It is very similar in measurements to the XDs, but is a full 5oz lighter.

Does anyone know if the DP-12 is going to be one of the talked about but never found ghosts or if they're actually going to hit the shelves?

I've found a cheapish ksg but would really rather wait for the DP-12 if they're actually going to exist and be available.

I was able to take out my Mosin Nagant M44 for the first time this weekend. That thing is a blast...it really makes some noise. I was actually decently accurate with it. I like the sights.

I also picked up my XDs on Friday and was able to shoot it as well. I tagged a beer can at about 15 yards with my first shot.

I have an XDm 9mm that would shoot the fleas off a dog's back. I haven't shot the XDs yet, but since it is Springfield Armory, I'm not surprised its a quality gun. I might have to get to the range this week just to blow off steam.
