I do know that Collins pretty much sucks right now though. He comes in and nibbles, leading to walks. Walking 9 left handed hitters is inexcusable

He's struggling for sure. His early success could be attributed to a lack of scouting reports on him. Now that guys have seen him they're making adjustments.

Choo is batting .188 against lefties. I think its a fair question to ask of Yost.

TC has 13 walks in 13 IP. That, for a reliever is really bad. Jeffress also struggles with this, as he has 8BB in 8.2 IP. The good news is that these guys will get better with time and experience. Both pitchers look terribly uncomfortable on the mound right now.

In contrast, Crow is just killing it with a 3:1 K:BB ratio. Love the way he handles himself on the mound.

It's fair to ask Yost a few questions so far this season. However, if Trey was still managing, I feel safe betting that we'd have about 100 questions for him so far.

Trey, why did you allow Jeff Francis to throw 147 pitches in his first game this season. You had to know he is only a few years removed from major shoulder surgery?

That's one I'm sure we'd want to ask him. Jokes aside, I believe Yost knows what he's doing. He just goes outside the box every now and again.

Guy is nasty as a reliever. I really think he can be even better as a starter. I like the idea of him cutting his teeth this year as a reliever, but we sure could use at least one good RHP to go along with the lefties in the next 2 years. I hope it's Crow

2012 Rotation, IMO - In no particular order:
Hochevar - He'll get another year to show if he can do it as a SP, but he'll be on a short leash
Crow - He looks absolutely ready to make the jump - love his confidence
Francis - I like what he has shown thus far, outside of his last outing
Duffy - I love what this kid brings to the table
Montgomery - Rock solid, could be our #1

No, it's a 1-yr $2MM.yr deal. I think DM, if Francis continues to provide some stability, would probably like to have him come back - especially if we have Crow, Monty, and Duffy in the lineup as well. Francis appears to be a decent clubhouse guy that could provide some leadership.
