Bo's Pelini didn't do it.

*Edit:
By request, we've split out the posts from the Stanzi thread during which Bearcat and DaFace investigated Billay's denial of some fairly serious charges. You decide his guilt or innocence.

The Stanzi thread still exists and all posts remain intact but if you choose to comment on Bo's Pelini's denial, please utilize this thread.

And after you got wrapped on the nose with a rolled up newspaper, you rolled over and said "uncle".

I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree about PM postings. Some of them deserve to be shared. Especially the ones where any threat has been made against another member. Public humiliation of people is a tradition that has been going on a helluva lot longer than the recent "No posting PM's" tradition.

Given the option, I prefer to reduce the incidence of banning members and increasing the public humiliations on this board.

OK, that's a fair assessment. And I think there are a lot of people who can make the distiction.

Like Fraz, I've got settings adjusted so that I don't get PM's from people that aren't on my friend list.

But I rarely got nasty PM's anyway, save a couple of notable exceptions.

Look I can't think of anything I would report to the mods, this is the ****ing internet. If someone contacted me at my job or some shit, yea I would have to come up with a way to find out who they were so I could go **** them up personally.

Outside of that, I would blow it off. I have had many a heated exchange with a few on here via PM. Dane is one of them, Billay is another.

I wouldn't share those things or report them though, whats the point?

We are getting off topic here. Back to the Luv/Lumpy fight & then once that is over in a few days, we can get back to billay trying to ruin Phobias business and then lying about it for 3 pages.

Nice.

I bet you're an honorable man in real life, too.

Well, I guess we will have to agree to disagree.

I can live with your assertion that I am lacking honor since you have never met me and have no idea. I'm sure there are people with more honor than myself but I'm quite certain there are many with less as well.

The same ones that have posted the same opinion in this and many other threads. You know, the vast majority that don't want to see the previously private postings of two posters going at it.

Private messages are intended to be PRIVATE. If you want to be an asshole and post private messages, be my guest.

You sure won't make many friends that way, nor will you gain an ounce of respect.
You clearly don't understand the difference between people reaching out to you for personal reasons and people sending hostile "private" messages. You're trying to apply the same rules to both types of messages.

Obviously only a douchebag would betray the confidence of someone who reached out for personal reasons. That's not what everybody is talking about. If somebody sends me a private message asking for advice about a personal matter or just confiding something that they obviously don't want shared, then of course I would respect their confidence. But if somebody decides to be a prick and sends hostile PMs to somebody else, then it's idiotic to say the recipient isn't allowed to share those kind of bullshit PMs with the community.

By the way, I never send or receive PMs, so I don't have a dog in this fight. I just think it's silly to say that there's some kind of binding covenant that applies to ALL private messages on an anonymous message board like this. You can call this bullshit if you like, but I suspect the majority of posters disagree with you.
