yeah, right
DUMBSHIT. GET THIS THROUGH YOUR HEAD. ANY ROOKIE FREE AGENT WHO IS CLAIMED OFF WAIVERS IS AN UNPROVEN, UNDRAFTED PLAYER THAT 32 TEAMS COULD HAVE DRAFTED AND INSTEAD SIGNED HIM TO THEIR 53 MAN ROSTER FROM SOMEONE ELSE'S PRACTICE SQUAD. THIS SHIT HAPPENS. IT WOULD ESPECIALLY HAPPEN WITH A QB WITH TONS OF POTENTIAL.

And it would happen. If Scott Tolzien got claimed by the 49ers, then Tyler bray, ESPECIALLY IF HE PLAYS WELL IN THE PRESEASON, against other teams 3's and 4's, there is no way he makes it to the PS.

Stanzi is a dead man walking. hes only still around I bet because he is a camp arm. Bray is already following Alex Smith everywhere. Stanzi is dead.

Stanzi did make some nice throws today, according to Twitter.

He's a turd. He's a hand-picked pioli turd. His stink needs to get off this team yesterday. The only reason anyone cares is because they're from Iowa, which is shitty enough without bringing their suck to KC.

I'm not from Iowa. He's an unknown though, and I like seeing those types get at least a shot with the ones.

I didn't mean you. I mean the people who have been saying that he was going to tear shit up and that the reason he never played in a regular season game was because he was too awesome.

I love you as a poster. Although I prefer your old avatar.

I know I am probably alone in my thinking, but if this is going to be a mega thread on training camp, I wish we could sort of stay on topic. Wading through mega threads is bad enough without wondering way off topic. JMO

It is readily apparent from this post that you have no idea how the waiver wire/practice squad designation works.

And I won't even call you a dumbass for it.

When a player is released he goes through waivers. If a team picks him up off of waivers, that team MUST add him to the 53 man roster. THEY CANNOT PUT THAT PLAYER ON THEIR PRACTICE SQUAD.

All practice squad players on every team must clear waivers first.

If that player clears waivers, then he is free to sign with anyone and those teams CAN place him on their practice squad.

Now I ask you, why would a team pass on Bray for 7 rounds, see him get cut by a QB-hungry team and pick him up off waivers and place him on their 53-man roster? Because they all of a sudden see him with amazing potential?

Bullshit. Won't happen.

If Bray were to be cut and he did clear waivers, why would he sign to another team's pratice squad when he chose the Chiefs as an undrafted rookie and went through an entire offseason with them?

I agree that it is entirely likely Bray will make the final roster, but if KC wanted to put him on the practice squad, it'll be likely because he didn't do much in the preseason and thus no team would pick him off waivers.

that's the main reason mega threads sucks

let's face it ... this place can't EVER stay on topic

at least with several threads, when one turns to shit you can just move on.

but people have this little ego competition going now about who can start threads that stay around the longest. So everyone wants to be the author of the mega thread.

Also why some people bump their own threads 10 times whether they suck or not.

might as well be on a playground playing kickball in grade school
