There's really no defending Smart here no matter how hard people try. Yes, Orr should probably be banned from Tech games based on his history. But if you're an athlete, especially a high-profile one like Smart, you never, EVER put your hands on a fan. Just pure stupidity.

Also, how is Travis Ford not fired yet? That program is reeling and out-of-control.

I can't read his lips past him saying he said something. Guy said it wasn't racial or n-word. You might very well be right, but I think you're seeing what you want to see right now. I'm simply advocating we back off on all the assumptions until we hear from both sides and more facts come out.

Smart's stupid for going into the stands and doing that. Yes, if Orr called him the n word, he has every right to be angry. But you can't shove a fan in the stands.

I will say I'm reminded of EJ going in for the finale slam at Ames last year for points 38 and 39 and getting booed. The apologizing, which I didn't agree with since those rat fans rode him all game. Class only extends to the player? Bullshit, those fans dished it out all game and hence deserved to take it at the end.

When they took to twitter with their outrageous comments later, my opinion was only reonforced. Screw these loser fans.

Shit when I was in high school a kid from our school went to another school. When we played them in basketball he tried to get friends by telling some douches shit about us. It was one of those crappy pits where there was a wall around the court and they were above us. They yelled at me that they had gangbanged my sister by name and told other guys they were going to kill their parents and shit. Racial slurs can't be any worse than that shit. And it was high school. An all but NBA player should be more mature than a bunch of small town high school players.
