To be fair, the creators and talent have been the subject of a lot of hate simply based on casting four women. Before the first, admittedly bad trailer came out. I agree however, that the review you posted is clickbait garbage.

It's not just people opposed to casting women, though. I'm even accustomed to knee jerk reactions. That's what the internet is for. It's the level to which it has risen with this movie. Reviewers releasing reviews just to say they refuse to see it? What?! How ****ing pathetic is that?

Eh, I guess I've just seen way more bitching from fanboys than anything. I'll take your word for it on the marketing ploys. Most of what I've seen is the typical lame cashing in on the original stuff that you'd expect. Like I said, though, I'm sure you're right.

If you want to bitch about sexism, your initial approach should probably not be sexist. In this case, Feig deliberately set out to cast 4 women as the Ghostbusters which, as you know, was originally an all-male group. In other words, the one who took a sexist approach is bitching about alleged sexist responses to said sexist approach. So Feig, and the rest of the SJW ****wits bitching about all the mean people who aren't happy with the decision, can all go sit on running chainsaws.

OK. I'll 'criticism' away. I don't have a problem with your opinion. In fact I agreed with you. I agreed that the review you posted was bullshit. I also conceded that you were probably right about the overly defensive marketing campaign. You, however, met my annoyance with this movies clearly unfair reception with defensive bullshit. Then, when I acknowledged what I thought was totally fair criticism of the film's characters, you nonsensically told me to enjoy the movie and .

The echo chamber I referenced is referring to an overly eager embrace of any comment bashing the movie or attacking any viewpoint that lends credence to the idea that the fanboy reverence for the original film is silly and pathetic, which it is.

Way to call me or on making non-specific arguments by generally attacking my grip on reality, though. Really strong.
