A couple of older rock bands I've seen, I've noticed the drummer hitting the skins so softly, I was surprised it even produced a noise.

But, I was 10 feet from Steven Tyler most of the show when Aerosmith was here a couple years ago, and he seemed to screaming everything pretty legit. If there was some faking, I sure couldn't tell. Now Joey Kramer on drums was a different story...

Me too. I saw them about 25 years ago at Arrowhead and enjoyed it. Was going to see them in Tulsa last year but decided they were just going to be too old and not put on a good show. Was told they were very good so when I heard they were comming I figured this really may be the last chance. Actually Mrs Fishingrod bought them. I'm lucky in the wife department

No way I'd pay what it takes to see those geezers, I'd rather just buy one of their albums.

Will they play "start me up", and send all the Lil' Chiefy's in to a frothing frenzy?
Magic 8 ball says, "yes".

The Chiefs sent out an email about this, saying they had "presale" for Season Ticket Holders on 4/10. That's BS, really, because anybody with an AMEX can buy them presale on 4/8. The prices from the Chiefs won't be any more favorable, and you don't get to buy your Chiefs seats. So for me, I wouldn't be guaranteed my current football tickets for the Stones concert. So if I decide to go, I'll just order up on the AMEX special on 4/8. All the good seats for Buffet at Sprint sold out on AMEX in less than one day.

My first concert ever. Stones w/George Thorogood in Tempe (Diablo Stadium) when I was in boarding school out here. Thorogood was better, by far. IMO.
Just never could get into the Stones for some reason. A handful of songs, but that is it. |
