Damn, that totally sucks. She was a total babe & seemed really cool . Apparently she went on a rant about not wanting to work with male porn guys that do gay porn and received tons of backlash for it. WTF I would say she had a point.

August Ames had cocaine, marijuana, anxiety and depression medications all in her system when she took her own life.

According to the toxicology report from the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office, Ames had taken the generic forms of both Zoloft and Xanax. She also had several different metabolites from cocaine and marijuana in her system, as well as a drug used to treat seizures.

The case report says that a marijuana pipe was found near her body on the day she killed herself and a bottle of anxiety medication was found in her car.

so she went with uppers, downers, and more downers and then down to the end! Thats recipe for disaster.

Just cant imagine why any woman would do porn, it sure seems like the ones who just love it and make long term lucrative careers in it, without melting down due to drugs etc, are the definite minority

The rest are likely just viewed as 'that porn slut' the rest of their lives, and have trouble ever finding a real job, spouse, or normal lives again

My buddy in LA used to work for Randy Wests now defunct production company, dude is NO wallflower and LOVES to party... yet even he said the porn actresses that would come around the office all the time just flat grossed him out with their shallow lives and low morals, he turned down multiple invites to their parties etc
