MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW PROFILE PICTURE

I will admit, in the past, I have not always seen eye to eye with Brett Veach.

I thought him simply a leech off the superior drafting ability of one John Dorsey. I thought he rode Dorsey's coattails, and his tremendous trio of Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill to success that he had not earned himself.

Today, I am finally ready to admit I was wrong. From the amazingly foresighted trade of Hill to secure our long term defensive future, to the decision to not fold to Orlando Brown's ridiculous demands, to the splendid job he's done of making our receiver room, not only as good as it has been with Hill, but BETTER without him.

I am ready to give Brett his due.

I am hereby changing my profile picture from Wolverine longing for John Dorsey, to just a ****ing picture of our HERO, Burt Vatch.

Dorsey was a great GM for us. He drafted many Chiefs legends. But it's Veach's team now, and he has earned all of our respect.

I believe in Bart Vurtch! And I believe in his ability to lead us to multiple more Lombardi Trophies!

Let's go Burt and Let's go Chiefs!!!

Given your history of bad takes, I'd prefer that you didn't endorse Veach.

The term ‘literally’ is superfluously overused. That said…

John Dorsey still sucks.

The thing about being a GM is you have to be an actual executive. It's the side of the job that fans completely ignore, because we associate results 1:1 with how good the players are. However, if you don't have those other skills besides talent evaluation, you're not a good GM.

Cap management. Longterm planning. Playing nice with the coaching staff and communicating with everybody and delegating your staff. Dorsey appears to be adept at the college scouting and talent evaluation side (and even then, I wouldn't say he was among the league's best necessarily) but he really ****ed up the cap side of things and is some kind of manipulative psychopath with his staff.

He's probably not going to get another shot at GM again, and it's not due to a tragic turn of fate for him or some stupid shit like that. He's a bad GM. That's why.

I adopted him and Clark the day they drafted Mahomes.

I am the driver of the bandwagon and the seats are all full
