Who is going to get this when it comes out???? Last year's version was really disappointing so I will be sure to rent Madden 09 first before buying it.

Why would you? The gameplay only changes every 3 years and when it does there's one $#itty addition for every good one.

Don't have current rosters on release date? Hell, even a 4 year old madden game allows you to fix that.

It's like getting tanked at the bar by 9 so that when you leave with another skag at 12 you at least can wake up the next day and say "Well, I thought she looked good anyway..."

I just reserved the Collecters Edition. I figured for $80....I get Madden 09, Head Coach 09 and Madden 93.....not that bad of a deal.

is it still going to take an entire day to complete an offseason? Do people actually enjoy the current offseason mode? are they ever going to change it? Same could be said for NCAA. Faster simulations please

I just bought a PS3 and immedeately bought Madden 08 just to have something to play. It's not bad, especially on a 52 inch big screen but I am a little disappointed that the graphics aren't all that much better than they were for the PS2.
