I’ll be watching Inside the NFL tonight to see what they’ve got to say about it. With as much national attention as this is getting you know they’ll at least mention it.

Well, not to give anyone here any ideas... but at least, at least, no one has tweeted Cassel death threats like 49er fan did to Kyle Williams in his overtime slip-up set up a 31-yard field goal for the New York Giants that cost the 49ers the NFC Championship 20-17.

The fact that the Chiefs as an organization have not went to the media and stood up for the fans is what is really disturbing. One of their players portrayed the people that support them year in an year out to the country as classless jerks and are now being scrutinized and shamed by every media outlet. You would think Clark or Pioli would issue a statement somewhere along the lines of "We stand by our fans as the greatest fans in the NFL and a few knuckleheads aren't the representation of the majority of our fan base". It's like they either don't give a damn or perhaps they believe we are what the media is portraying us as.

Exactly. It's why, beyond any on-the-field arguments, Pioli must go.

IMO the Chiefs are letting this play out to make the fans look bad in an effort to counter the fan revolt against Cassel and Pioli.

Cassel was in the middle of #7ing the bed and proving that fans were right to want a change. The best thing that happened to Pioli sunday was this incident. That's why they're continuing to let the national media defecate on this fan base.

yup

we always manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory

winning one too many games to draft a QB, having Cassel get injured and become sympathetic just as he was about to seal his and pioli's fate...
