PFT: Charger's Malcolm Floyd injures knee in practice
This plus Alexander's ACL could make for an even shittier year for the bolts.

Vincent Brown, assuming he doesn't get hurt again, is a great option in fantasy football this year.

I'm in a pickle. I love preseason. It's great to give the young guys quality experience and development time for ascending players. The vets don't need many reps. If coaches were concerned about that they wouldn't play so vanilla and they'd play more. But yet I'd rather have my starters get injured in the regular season. You can't decrease the number of preseason games because that takes evaluation and developmental time away from the young guys. It would take a player that needs those games to get better longer if you were to cut the preseason games in half. I don't know it's hard. And there's no way the NFLPA allows two games to be added to the season.

Rivers will make due with whoever is out there.
He seems to have some renewed swagger this year. |

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 42s
Source: Initial tests on #Chargers WR Malcom Floyd reveal a knee sprain, not a torn ACL. May know more tomorrow. 2nd opinion this week. |

@UTgehlken
Mike McCoy says Keenan Allen (knee) was sent to athletic trainer's room midway through practice to get treatment.
