Don't know, but my friend worked for the Chiefs...and he met Weiss a couple times and to my surprise actually said he was a pretty cool dude.

I would have to agree. Weis is a name, but I don't expect him to actually make an impact on the field. Maybe it can add some excitement to the fan base and get some recruits in here, but not sure how much Weis will like recruiting being that he can barely walk. I don't anticipate this working out well for KU. If it wasn't for Tom Brady, he never even would have been hired at ND.

That's why they kept Mitchell on I would think.

Weis brings instant recognition to recruits while the other guys go out.

If indeed Grundhard is on his way in too you can see a real push to take over KC now that MU has moved on.

Should be interesting.

you can't spin it. Athletics is not like the rest of the world - it is customary to give the courtesy to the staff you are interviewing. Hell, in the NFL they have to have permission....when was the last time someone asked your boss for permission to interview you?
