I was listening to the commentators talk about how this isn't the team Baird put together because greinke Hernandez and Redman weren't here...Hernandez at best is the only one worth mentioning. Unless we are talking about a different Grienke who led the league in losses last year.

Splitorff has a point, this team isn't healthy, before spring training we were supposed to have Zack and Twinkie Hernandez pitching. The Offense hasn't mailed it in all the games either, they've been down early and by alot and seem to get some runs in, the pitching just needs tobe there. It doesn't help that our "best" hitter is batting .120 at this point. Hopefully the other teams can keep losing or beating each other.

Do you really think Grienke makes that much of a difference? Macdougal yes I will say that. Grienke....sorry he just don't have it between the ears.

We should have traded his 11million salary last year for some talent now he is worthless.

how about the Greinke before the "arm whisperer" Guy Hansen :Robinson: started comparing Greinke to a "young Roger Clemens" and telling him to work from his fastball.

Almost every young pitcher that comes up gets told "you can't just rely on your fastball, you have to learn how to pitch"

Then we finally land a young guy who actually pitches and Hansen tells him to do just the opposite.

More of the Glass curse.

If the dude can get that back, he can be a star in this league, he was a star in the minors, if he truly is "better" than maybe he can be the solid pitcher we are all hoping for.

I didn't like Hansen either. But he is gone. Grienke can't even get on the mound. I am sorry but I am not going to put a lot of stock in someone who is perfectly healty yet not pitching. He might be a good #4 or #5 I guess. Maybe. Can't be any worse than he was last year.

At this point we need all the help we can get. Greinke has all the tools to be succesful in this league, we can't give up hope on him that easy.

No one is hungry on this team. Sanders is the only it seems who salivates for RBI chances.

Reggie seems to have decent ab's and Grudz hasn't looked too bad either. The rest of the team really needs to step it up.

Call me old school but star ball players are hungry and want to be out there competing. Give me some kid with some fight and grit ..not someone who is just out there. We do need help. I just don't think Grienke is it.

Look at this Cantreres kid. This guy is going after batters. Throwing like he wants to win. All the talent in the world isn't any good if you don't have the attitude.
