Anyone here play it?

It's a MOBA type game that's been out for a while but I just recently got into it. Just seeing if anyone on here wanted to team up and play some online. I may even have a free copy or two to send as a gift via steam to someone interested, just maybe.

I played Dota2 for a while, but ended up staying with LoL because all my buddies play that. I really wish they had creep deny in LoL, that was my favorite part of Dota2.

Is anyone watching the championships? I'm only on game 2 of 5 right now (I'm about 2 hours behind) but this game looks sick. I might get into it.

My friend tried to get me into it. I gave it a few hours, i couldn't do it. I'm not a fan of the playstyle....but that's not what made me give up on it.

It has a looong list of "classes" to play and an items list that's just as long. Using the right items is the key to winning in this game, as well as matching the right classes together with your group to form a strong comp.

The gameplay just didn't feel rewarding enough to compensate for the steep learning curve...IMO at least.

If you're planning on playing the shit out of it and playing it competitively, and learning everything about it from top to bottom, then maybe it's worthwhile.

If you're picking it up to be a casual gamer with it and play every once in awhile when you have nothing else to play, i don't recommend it.

In summary, you have to dedicate a lot of time with it to be any good. I mean a LOT of time. For me, the gameplay just wasn't worth the amount of time required to learn it.

I enjoy it every now and again. I generally stick with suggested items and easier to play heroes though. Drow ranger or sniper generally.

Just be careful as they die easy so don't go too far past your supply lines or teammates.
