Yeah, well that bit of bad driving might have just ended any real chance he had for a top-10 for the season.. I get him being mad..

That being said, if he wants to ever compete again, he better decide to live for racing. I don't think he does anymore (or he'd race more in other series) and that's OK at his age. But he should retire then... Find the next JJ and let him take his ride...

He no longer has the hunger or edge it seems. He appears to be more of of an ambassador of the sport these days. It has to be tough being teammates with the 48. Add the fact the change in the points cost him some championships if I recall correctly. He has the very best equipment available and just cannot seem to compete with it. When it is all said and done he is a hall of fame driver who ended up finishing his career in the shadow of maybe the greatest driver of all time~

This.... But he could do better if he'd try. But he's decided other things are more important. That's cool, I just ask that he bow-out then. Nobody could blame him, he's been doing the NASCAR grind for a long time...
