I bought the AX Pro's back in November.....way too many wires....and maybe I'm getting old....but the bass was overkill!
The midrange and highs were sub-par to say the least. Took them back and bought the new Sony PS3 wireless. Have to say...for 90 bucks, I'm extremely happy with them (and love the wireless floor between my couch and tv). Very nice combo of lows and highs. The mic sounds good too. I will say - I tried the Turtle beach ones that were being demo'd at best buy.....and they were pretty damn good (but I cant justify 250 bucks on a headset).

Thinking about picking up the Turtle Beach PX5s....it works for both systems. Anyone have a better option that works for both the 360 and PS3?

I'm using the Turtle Beach XP400s. It works for ps3 and xbox, full dolby 5.1 surround, and wireless with good range. Quite happy with them

Cant speak for the TB brand but I have found my most comfortable pair ever. Corsair Vengence 1300s . They also make some higher sets in the line with more features if desired. They are insanely comfortable. I game for long sessions sometimes and I don't get headset fatigue one bit, and many hours of lifetime use haven't affected them. Not to mention incredible sound quality and superior dampening. I'm in love.

**** yeah (well for the 360). I don't have a good set for the PC, I'm using a really old pair of crappy KOSS headphones.

**** it, just bought a pair of PX5's used off ebay from someone with a perfect feedback rating and lots of sales. It was only $100. I'm nervous, but we'll see.
