(I love it when a plan comes together.) Why you are correct; let's focus on the upcoming game. IMHO: KC's offense will need to be ready for a full day of blitzing. Disguised blitz, naked blitz, Lynch coming to kill Trent blitz, all day. Coyer will bank on bieng able to cover the KC recievers one-on-one like he did last time. If the Chiefs can pick up the blitzes and catch Denver with well-timed draws, screens to Tony, and other plays designed to use the blitz they will score some points. Barring a complete melt-down by Jake, I mean a 3 interception game (entirely possible I know) Denver will have little trouble scoring 35 on KC. The interesting match up will be the KC O vs. the Denver D. As usual, for KC to win they will have to come out on top in a scoring battle. Prediction: Denver 38 KC 24 |

Champ Bailey has been smoked more times in the past month than Snoop Dogs Glass Pipe.
If you're lucky, you'll have a rusty DE back off of Injuries just in time to get dominated by one of 5 angry Chiefs Offensive linemen. Its going to hurt like when you found out your parents were first cousins when you see a RB from Penn State Putting up 100 yards on your "Defense". Eddie Kennison catching 8 balls for 120 yards and 2TDs is going to grate at Donk fans like when their wife gave them Herpes that she picked up from a Raider fan. I'll admit it.........the Chiefs suck...............but how is it going to feel, knowing that the "mighty" Donks couldn't even beat a weak, horrible _efense run by a guy in blue blockers, while your QB is tossing INTs to William Bartee of all people..... Chief fans have nothing to lose but draft position by knocking your peedrinking crapfaced turd gargling team out of the playoffs. |

Your team might be face down in the bath-house with Denver Chief sidling up behind them but at least you are still showing some fight. Still, there used to be a whole lot more football talk on this board during the week leading up to this game. |

You realize I was laying down all of that vile, unsportmanlike junk just to elicit some sort of football reaction from an otherwise football-dead board don't you? I haven't seen a thing to indicate whether Holmes is coming back or not other than his statement. Given that next year he begins to really make some money I don't think he would say he is not coming back if his leg fell off. Priest will not willingly retire for at least the next two years; there is way too much $$ at stake. As to fucking myself let me just say that if I could I would and in the process I'd have saved a WHOLE LOT of money over the pas 15 years. |

Holmes is on IR this year, but has already said he's coming back next season, and figures he's gone an extra 8 weeks of jump start on preparation. Vermiel has also said he's coming back for 1 last season to make another run.
The Donks need to figure out their smack game plan.........week 1, all we heard about was how the Midget who could get lost in a dixie cup was the next barry sanders, then Ruben Droughs was Bo Jackson for 2 weeks, and Taintum Bell was Earl Campbell, until he separated his ovary. The Chiefs aren't very good................but you'll have to ask Fans of Atlanta, Indy and Baltimore how cocky donk fans should be. This sunday, you can flush your playoff dreams for 04 with that Napkin you wipe the jakebutter off your belly with. |

On paper I cannot see Denver losing to KC but that's what makes these games so good. You never know what's going to happen. I'll look you in the eye and say Denver wins this one by 17 but I will not bet a penny on it. |
