NFL MVP
Interesting debates on these every year, here's one from ESPN.
http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/12...demarco-murray Peyton, Rodgers, Brady, Murray, Watt, Luck... Where would you guys lean? I don't know, part of me tends to lean towards Murray quite honestly. I think Peyton's crazy 2013 year hurts the image of what he's done in 2014, especially when compared against the other QBs that are getting all the MVP talk. Peyton's right there with them. Aside from all that, I think it's a pretty even race among the QBs in the discussion... I wouldn't give it Watt, I think my vote with be DeMarco. |

You've got to nudge Jeff Linkenbach into the discussion, no question.

1. Watt
2. Rodgers 3. Murray 4. Brady Those would be my only ballots and, realistically, only Watt or Rodgers would get my vote. If Watt doesn't win, it will be bullshit. He needs to win unless we want this thing to devolve into an MVQB thing every single year. I can't even believe Peyton is getting consideration. |

Take Murray away from the Cowboys and they wouldn't be in the playoff hunt.

W/L Completion % YDS TD INT YPA QBR
11-3 / 67.1 / 4143 / 37 / 11 / 8.03 / 106.4 11-3 / 64.4 / 3847 / 32 / 8 / 7.25 / 99.8 10-4 / 64 / 3837 / 35 / 5 / 8.38 / 111.2 10-4 / 61.4 / 4492 / 38 / 14 / 7.77 / 97.5 Those are the stats for the 4 contending QBs in this race (leader in bold) ... I don't really see a gap that creates enough distance with one over another. That's why I voted Murray, he's by far and away the best and most consistent RB this year and he's the reason Dallas isn't sucking. Each of those 4 QBs are rock solid, each has had big wins and crap losses and each has been pretty consistent, obviously.

If Houston were a better team, I'd give Watt a shot at this one... but it's an offense focused league and those other teams are winning, so I just don't see him falling in the top 4. I think he's the token 'non-offense' guy.

I get why ... feels like it's his turn, I guess and he's having a great season. I just don't see the separation from the others (Brady/Manning).
