And he will garner zero interest in Rookie of the Year voting, because he's on the 31st ranked defense in the league.

I watched Jared Allen a lot yesterday. That guy is pretty fast and should have had the fugging midget Flutie yesterday. I think he needs to learn some technique. The guy is a fugging bull coming off the corner. He was held several times and it was never called.
A little more strength and technique and this guy is gonna get sacks in bunches. |

Thats how it is in the NFL though. If your team isnt winning, youre immediately disqualified from winning any type of awards.
Thats why several players with outstanding seasons get passed over in the Pro Bowl voting each year, when they play for losing teams. I think Jared Allen is going to be a really good player for our team though. I mean, look at him, and then look at Ryan Sims. If you looked at their numbers alone, you would think that Sims was the 6th rounder, and Allen was the first round pick. If we had an actual dominant defensive tackle who could command a double team more than once or twice a game, who knows what havoc Allen would be wreaking on opposing offenses. He's pretty much done this stuff this season all by himself. He hasnt gotten much help on the D-line, other than Lional Dalton.
