If Bunkley is off the board, I'm all for it.

Hill ran a 4.30 at the combine I believe. When was the last time we had a corner with that kind of speed?

And I'm all for it. I know Gabe Watson gets a lot of love around here, but if both of these guys are still on the board, I'd feel better getting Tye Hill.

If he's on the board then we have to take him. We can still get a quality DT in the 2nd round. I'd say we can still snag the 3rd-4th best DT in the draft at that 2nd round pick.

maybe ... he fast and quick

his change of direction is better than anyone we have on the roster right now.

several guys might be there at #20 for us imo

No way Michael Huff is there at 20. I know alot of people said the same about DJ last season, but this guy is top 10. He has Troy Polamalu speed, maybe even better.

if some team wants him for a cornerback then he is prolly gone.

but if teams look at him as a safety he very well could fall.

usually safeties,linebackers,Guards,Tightends tend to fall at little further than they are ranked.

Course, that's what I said last year about DJ.

He's tiny and can't play zone to save his life. I think we'd have better options.

If he can't play zone than no thanks. I would rather go for a DT than a CB.

Anyone should be able to learn to play zone with a good secondary coach.

Anyone can "play"--the question is do they have the speed, athletic ability, and, most importantly, instincts to make plays? Guess which one Warfield lacked most of the time? It's why Herm understood he's expendable.

TW's point is great: "Herm said" average corners can be disguised, but upfront is were the gamechangers are" in his interview with Rich Eisen after Rich asking him which position KC needs help more DB or the DL"... it is what we have forgotten the past 4-5 years.

I don't care who your corners are, if you consistently give the QB and WRs an extra 1-2 seconds to get "open".....even best CBs in the league are gonna get roasted over the course of the season.

We need pressure, or at least the consistent threat of serious pressure, on every passing play. And since 2000 or so, we simply haven't had it.
