A thumb drive that takes SD cards? I thought a thumb drive was just a flash drive. I assume you must mean something like a USB memory card reader. If that is the case, perhaps you need to update the firmware.

nope...in fact, I can't get the E drive to open at all and when I go to My Computer to open it, everything freezes for a minute it seems.... I'll try another computer, but they are all the same computer...and I don't have a different thumb drive...well, let me ask the secretary if she does...

the reader is probably bad.
you could test it with a card you know is good, like one from your camera. that would let you know if its the cards or the reader itself |

It's not. It sucks. And I hate that I'm in this situation. But I'm in charge of the safety of this church and the people in it.

they're pretty cheap. you could even go to the computer store and just stick the cards into a display model and see whats on them. many newer computers have readers built into them
