Everybody knows about the "no 1st QBs drafted from 1984-2016" bit. But check out the TOTAL drafted QBs we had since 1997:

2016- Kevin Hogan (5th round)
2014- Aaron Murray (5th round)
2011- Ricky Stanzi (5th round)
2006- Brodie Croyle (3rd round)
2005- James Killian (7th round)
1997- Pat Barnes (4th round)

In a stretch of 20 years we drafted SIX. And the biggest dry spell (EIGHT ****ING YEARS) was during the awful mediocrity of the Gunther and Vermeil era. Not to mention the fact that between 2006 and 2011 the Chiefs posted seasons of 2-14 and 4-12 (two times) and NOT ONE ****ING QUARTERBACK WAS DRAFTED. NOT EVEN A GODDAMN 7TH ROUND FLIER.

That's been the worst part about being a fan of this team. We don't trade for other teams' backups as a, "Hey, maybe this will work." We trade for other teams' backups and then treat them like they're ****ing legitimate franchise QBs. No "Shit or get off the pot, dude" for those guys. They get the royal ****ing treatment.

It's why I will never apologize for fans who booed Cassel when he was on the ground injured. That mother****er stole $60 million from this team and got ALL of the ****ing luxuries and chances to make something happened and he never did.

1-11....sorry, no ones luck is that bad. Try flipping a coin...see if you get that result. Twelve attempts and only one win....not buying it. Too many bizarre instances that have all favored the other team.

Hell...the last two play-off games, we saw the refs take 2 points off late...then essentially give the Titans 3. KC lost by two and one point....funny how that works.

The probability of losing 11/12 is .0029, or less than a third of 1 percent.
