Funny, when Bowe wasn't signed, Baldwin & the others excelled. Bowe signs & what happens? He gets focused on & they can't seem to get it to the other receivers. Either it's play calling, or the qb won't look in anybody elses direction... What bullshit

I don't think the WRs are very good. I think the offensive line is MORE than adequate.

But most of all, I think the QBs are pure SHIT and trying to evaluate the other offensive units is a lesson in futility until the QB position is FIXED.

QB is obvious, but I think given the chance, with the amount of talent we have at WR & TE, they could excel. SOMEBODY, SOMETIME has to get open. I just don't think we have a QB smart chicken enough to find them.

I'm not sure we have that much talent at TE. Two guys that are known for the fact that they're injured all the time...

At WR, I see somewhat where you are coming from. Bowe and Breaston are both proven WRs. I appreciate your optimism for Baldwin but reports on him coming out said he wasn't a superb route runner. That's a necessity in the NFL because you can't get separation on speed alone.

The O-line issue has already been settled. It isn't the problem. It's not the receivers either. It's amazing how often you see Bowe pwn a corner deep (like he did to Chump) and the ball not even come CLOSE.

I don't. They didn't want to draft and develop a QB either.

EDIT: Can you imagine what the late 2000's might have looked like had Vermeil drafted Drew Brees instead of trading for Trent Green?

I just think you put a qualified qb back there & let him work with what we got & we would be fine.

Give Bowe, Baldwin and Breaston a real QB and OC and they'd be lighting it up.

If they actually practiced to holding on after the initial touch I would tend to agree, especially Bowe.
