Yes it's on the wife. She should be held responsible but it doesn't mean the guy should be absolved of any wrong doings. He's a giant piece of shit. They BOTH deserve something sweet and vengeful.

Completely valid argument but we can play the 'what if?' game all day.

I would tell her because I would want someone to tell me. Is it possible that the guy murders me and my whole family? Yeah, sure. Is it likely? **** no. What's most likely to happen is that the wife confronts him, he sleezes his way back into her good graces and she stays with him. But at least you did the "right" thing by making her aware of the situation.
