my dad got me a model rocket for himself one christmas. went up to my uncles that afternoon. he shoots it off in low clouds and that was that.

lol, I did this with my godson too a number of years ago but these big rockets sure look like a lot more fun. Go Karts in another year or so and dirt bikes after that. We are going to have some great times. I think I am going to go to where some of these clubs are shooting off some of the big ones first. Doesn't seem like anyone here has done them.

you should fire one off in the back yard and see what happens first. Just to see if its worth the trouble.

Big one's are like $100+ and I don't want to lose it. My boy had a cow when I lost the last one which was an 1,100 footer. I got 3 new ones to shoot this weekend. I won't send them up that high again though if there is any breeze at all. I put phone numbers on them now too.

yours or someone elses? cause id be inclined to shoot them at angles not recommended by the org. mfg.

This one has just got to be cool. An E9-6 Engine, WOW That's about as big as it gets for Estes. I just might get that one at some point here this summer.
