Part of me thinks Self should be doing more publicity and catering to the egos of the top recruits. But then I think that Self knows what he is doing and what kind of team he wants to build – talented but hungry kids who will work hard on D and stick around for 3 or 4 years. I doubt he is nearly as upset about missing out on 1-and-doners as the KU fan base is.

What's great is that even if we fall short this year, we have so much talent coming in that we can reload and try again. I am in awe of Self's recruiting. Very exciting time to be a fan.
