Anyone that watched the game knew that receivers could not get any separation. Simms throuhought the entire broadcast kept saying receiver were not getting open.
No Vernon Davis No Crabtree No Maningham D has clearly regressed and the oline has been playing like shit. You can put the Seahawks loss on Kaep...but not this game. |

There's a difference between not being able to throw the ball because receivers are blanketed and being AFRAID to throw into coverage. |

C'mon man. Finding a one-off time does not make what I said invalid. He protects the ball and doesn't throw into coverage. It's all roses now....but this will be a problem down the road when the D and special teams are not playing top 5 ball.

I know how this ends -- with Kaepernick as an elite NFL QB. I can stomach it when he plays badly in his first few seasons. There will be growing pains and he is going through the growing pains of learning to put the team on his back, which he will eventually master. This ends well, with Kaepernick as an elite NFL QB. We don't need to cover for him with excuses while he is developing. I ecstatic to have him as the starting QB of my favorite team. When he is clutching his 2nd Lombardi, I won't even remember back to 2013 when he was struggling to make the jump to the next level. Let it go, man. Just let it go. |

He's a developing QB. He gets more of a pass than an 8 year vet who's too afraid to throw into coverage. Kaep will bounce back....and that will anger some 9er fans...so it's a win-win. |

Knowing that he will be an elite QB makes it so we don't need any stinking excuses for when he plays badly. There is no doubt that he wasn't alone in failing. After Boldin, the WR corps sucks and that isn't going to change this year. Let's get Patton his snaps and lets see whether Kyle is trash or not. Time for Kyle to put up or ship out. We don't need excuses like the Alex fanbois do and nobody wants to hear them -- not here, not on the 49ers board. Kaepernick has struggled & played poorly the last 2 games after being money against GB. We know what we have in Kap. Let it play out and enjoy the ride to a couple of Lombardis the next decade. |

Kaep's top end is much higher than Smiffs. Period. Short term Smiff was a much better option than any of the rookies out there. You're ****ing reeruned if you can't see that. And I was dead wrong in not seeing that. And that said he's still warming the seat until we can draft our Kaep...

Maybe you missed it when Terrell Suggs said that Kaepernick is the "truth" and that he would play in a few superbowls. Here, I will remind you... "“Going into the game, I thought it was all hype,” Suggs told Jim Rome. “He’s only had nine starts and then I’m going down the line at the teams he’s playing and I’m like ‘OK, alright, he’s got some good stats, but we will see.’ “When you go in there and you’re playing a guy like that, I hate quarterbacks, but that kid is the truth and I have the upmost respect for him,” Suggs said. “I don’t think he needs to hold his head down at all because he’s going to play in a few [Super Bowls].” I must have missed Suggs saying that about RGIII. I could fill the page with similar quotes from players and ex-players. Your love for Alex and hatred for Kaepernick just makes you look ****ing silly. And stupid. |
