Once Albert is gone...

Should Eric Fisher be the 2014 opening day starter at left tackle?

I'd wager Fisher will be the starter at LT to begin the season.

It's huge. There's this idea that Stephenson can play. At best he's average.

He deserves a shot. I wasn't the biggest fan of the pick but I'm much more high on him than most people here it seems. He was a disaster the first half of the year but I think he really improved as the year went on. He's so athletic and can move in space. I can see why they liked him over Joeckel.

He absolutely needs to add weight. I was looking at a picture of him, and he looks like a tall TE playing tackle.

Stop looking for angles to defend your Geno stupidity.

He should get a couple of years of starting at LT before being labeled at all.

Fisher has to earn it, but he'll be a starter nonetheless.

this offense is built around the short passes and the screen game. Eric Fishers mobility is a big plus in both of those categories.

Leave that discussion in another thread, please.

Thank you and have a good day.

It'll be a bad pick, but full on bust is year 3.

The skill and ability is there, just get him in the weight program and bang out the technique. Gotta get him healthy too.

He's got a higher upside at lt than Albert, but he's a log ways off from that.

His frame can probably add another 20 pounds, maybe 25.

He is a big man with plenty of room to grow.

Lots of upside there.

I'm pretty confident an nfl offseason weight program can put 15 pounds in a guy in an offseason.

It's not abnormal with today's knowledge of strength training mixed with science.
