Late night bullshit: The Chiefs have replaced John Dorsey with you.

Congratulations. We all hate you now.

The Chiefs ended the season at 6-10. They're picking 8th overall in 2015. What do you do?

1. Do you extend Alex Smith, and to what kind of contract?

2. Do you extend Justin Houston, and to what kind of contract?

3. Do you extend Eric Berry, and to what kind of contract?

4. Here is the team's salary cap in 2015 (be sure to hit the "2015" tab). Do you cut anybody?

5. Josh Martin is a RFA. Do you tender him, and if so, to what?

6. We have the following free agents: RB Joe McKnight, FB Anthony Sherman, WR Kyle Williams, WR Junior Hemingway, OT Ryan Harris, OT J'Marcus Webb, OT/G Jeff Linkenbach, G Rishaw Johnson, C Rodney Hudson, DE Allen Bailey, OLB Dezmon Moses, CB Chris Owens, LS Thomas Gafford.

7. Here is a list of free agents. If you do the work to subtract the contracts you've cut, and added in the extensions you've signed, who would you target in free agency?

8. Who/what are you targeting in the draft?

Plus we will have that 1st, which we'll finally use on the elite QB prospect this franchise has been starving for.
And who would that be?

I defer to whomever Andy Reid has interests in.

Andy Reid doesn't give two flying ****s about a player's past history. Obviously.

I suffer from low test due to years of retread QBs.

Also Andy Reid loves fast QBs. He's probably already jacking off to Marcus Mariota in red.

Marriotta is going first overall. Don't think the Raiders would trade with us. I like Hundley a lot tho

We'll see what Dorsey does going for with his guys. So far the only position he's improved in his time here is QB and much of that is on Reid.
Reid has done a great job. The guy is obviously putting in quality work as the Head Coach.

I will tell you what Herman Edwards did was load this team with talent. He had some of, if not, the best drafts we have had in DECADES. Herman Edwards is willing to draft and develop a QB.
I will give you the fact that he didn't know how to coach to win. Herman always coached to not lose the game. He sure could say some of the stupidest most ridiculous things.
But the bottom line on Herman Edwards is that he could spot talent, especially in DB's.
And Ill say again, you can thank Carl and Kucharich(sp)
for all those players not named Brandon Carr.

Any fan of the Chiefs that isn't get a bit worried about Dorsey isn't paying attention.

maybe Dorsey is just clearing the cap
maybe stuff just didn't work out this year
maybe he has a super duper triple secret plan that he is ready to dominate with

or

maybe he's a personnel manager playing at being a GM and is overwhelmed

on paper this offseason was a big,fat FAIL

If we can duplicate what we did last year(1 and done playoffs) then Reid deserves COTY and a dozen blowjobs from Dorsey.

I actually don't fault Dorsey for this offseason. The cap stuff hamstrung them.

I fault him for last offseason, which was a total load of shit. It was like spending money on a ****ing marketing campaign to convince Kansas City the Chiefs WERE BACK BABY.
