What the hell is happening to Bruce Jenner?

This "guy", I use that term loosely, is slowly morphing into a woman. The rumours have been rampant that he wants to be one and by the looks of things, he isn't that far away.

To think that this guy was the Decathlon champ in the Olympics and how far he has fallen is sad. He looks so God damn creepy!

Hey Dane, you are the big Hollywood man, what say you?

I wouldn't know for sure, but living with that ****ing Kardashian clan might just push anyone over the edge, even to the point of cutting their junk off and changing sexes. But I'm glad Bruce found a new name and is happy. We should all be so happy, I guess.

Dude. The guy put this shit off for 30 years due to society and family pressures. THIRTY ****ING YEARS. HE WAS NOT HAPPY.

You think people cut their junk off on a whim?

These people don't do this for attention or because they are mentally ill or led astray. They do it because they have a belief at their core that they absolutely positively need to do it to be happy in this lifetime.

It's like...the average guy's need to **** and eat pizza and watch football...it's that goddamn important to them.

Imagine if you went 30 years not ****ing, eating pizza and watching football because society would ostracize you or it would be bring hardship on your family. You'd be horribly unhappy.

Now what if one day society started accepting raw-doggin' a bitch out, meat lover's and the long ball...and all you had to do was cut off an arm and take some pills and act a little swishy.

**** yeah you'd cut off your arm.

I'm not exactly sure yet. I haven't read a lot of stories about it (I obviously don't frequent the same sites as Scho), and the one article I read that actually confirmed she had the surgery didn't seem like a credible site.

From my understanding, he's yet to undergo gender reassignment surgery and from what I heard today, he's not in any rush to do so.

Whoa, OK. That's interesting.

I wonder if there are complications due to age, etc.

Well, every fetus starts off as a female. So I would imagine, that during the many millions of developments that occur in the process of making a human being, especially a male, some of the systems under and over form.

It's possible, that what are considered 100% male and 100% female attributes are far from the standard. More likely that most fall somewhere in the middle, but closer to one side than the other.

A super aggressive violent straight rapist felon might be super "male" on that spectrum, while a hyper nurturing caring, child bearing women falls super female.

Whereas a gay/trans/bi man might fall somewhere from center to female, and visa versa for a lesbian/trans/bi women.

Keep in mind that there are LOTS of factors involved in sexuality, identity, etc etc. Hormones, mindset, nurture, etc.

I think most characteristics we attribute to people aren't binary, but a spectrum value.

For example, this being a Chiefs board, we can assume that we all like football, but how much? Some of us like it just enough to follow the Chiefs as a fair weather fan, others like it enough to never miss a Chiefs game, some follow just the Chiefs, but watch more college, some can't get enough of Chiefs the NFL, and college, while others have taken up scouting as a hobby. All of that and more on one board. Everything in life can be measured on a spectrum.

Any of that make sense? I know it's far from science, but science certainly isn't there yet when it comes to human biology.
