Best Pizza in KC?
I will be traveling to KC to visit my sister and am wondering where the best pizza is in downtown KC. I will be there for a week and plan on going to Strouds, Arthur Bryants, Gates, Mannys and Oklahoma Joes. I want to get pizza/italian one of these days I am there. Any suggestions?

Domino's is ahead of PJ to me, but I'm biased as a family member if a Domino's franchisee. They've improved their product and brand greatly in the last 5 years or so, though, whereas I feel PJ's has remained stagnant.

Dominos is way better than Papa Johns for me, and Pizza Hut is no worse than as bad as Papa Johns. I've never had a Papa Johns experience that I can tolerate. I'd rather order some terrible Little Ceasers or Hungry Howie's than Papa Johns, because at least those brands are cheaper.

I really like Pizza Shoppe. I used to dislike it as a child. You know how it is when you're a little kid. You like McDonald's better than a good steakhouse. I lived close to the Pizza Shoppe in Olathe by the Price Chopper (not sure if it's still there). My buddy worked there in high school and used to slip me pizzas he made out the back door for me when i was stoned. The ones he made were just incredible. The weed probably made it seem better than it was but it was still good.

yeah, Pizza Shoppe is routinely tasty. I wish one was closer to my house. Though, it seems like they're popping up quite a bit.
