I'd rather have Teahan play 1st and Gordon at 3b, DJ and Gathright can't be in the same OF

i agree about DJ and gathright ..... but i don't think the Royals are gonna be able to make that change unless they trade Dejesus.

Emil Brown slipped a lot this year.. And he was only average at best last year.. Trade him or release him..

Teahan is a strikeout machine and his bat has been barely average this year.. I would say trade him, but in my heart I would give him one more year to prove himself..

Gathright would get a full chance to prove himself next year as a fulltime starter..

I would bring in Bonds( yeah you can kill me) to play in the outfield part-time and DH when he is not out there.. Hopefully get a new homerun record for the franchise..

I would also try and bring in Aaron Rowand or Tori Hunter for the other spot..

IMO, bring in some quality veteran homerun threats and mix them with our young talent and the offense should be decent.. Hopefully our pitchers Grienke, Meche and Bannister continue what they have done this year.. I would also love to bring in another veteran quality pitcher to see if that can get us over the hump..

no particular order

1. Gathright
2. Pena
3. Rowand/Hunter
4. Bonds
5. Grudz
6. Gordon
7. Buck
8. Butler
9. Teahan(dh)

DeJesus is a lead off hitter. Most Lead Off hitters don't have a ton of RBI's I would think.

Hate to say it but DeJesus probably isn't going anywhere and I am not sure why you would want him too.

Brown will be gone, he is up for arbitration this year.

Gathright, DeJesus and Teahen will be the 3 starters in the OF next year barring trades.

Gload and Butler will split time at 1st base.

Smith and TPJ will compete for starter at SS

Grudz and Gordon are not going anywhere obviously.

We have big bats in our lineup they just are kids now though. Butler and Gordon will both hit 25 Jacks next year I promise.

If Buck can get his shit together he could be a 20 Jack guy himself.

I wouldn't trade DeJesus right now unless we got an impact player. No way to I trade him for a prospect. Ain't happening. He isn't the fastest Cf, he doesn't have the strongest glove but he is a good baseball player and if he could learn to steal he would be a great # 5 or 6 batter. I would like ot see Gathright leading off.

Dejesus is #12 in Runs scored in the AL... and with none of our guys at 60 RBI's this year, and our lack of offense, that is impressive....
