"I take games for what they are," [Herm Edwards] said. "You play them. You try to win every time you play. When you don't, you come back to work, put a smile on your face and you go back."

Herm's indifference to a season that long time Chiefs fans are up in arms about is starting to get annoying. I know thats his style and I'm not jumping ship on Herm's coaching style (yet) but I need a coach who is a little more fired up in what I perceive to be dark times for Chiefs fans.

How about a nice little press conference where Herm Edwards does a Jim "Playoffs?!?!?!" Mora impression?

Do you REALLY want Herm to meltdown Mora style in public??? Would that inspire or make the guys think he's lost his mind??? Nobody knows what is said to the team in private. Some guys yell n scream.....for some guys its just not their style. IMO the rah-rah stuff should be coming from the vet leaders.

The more I hear Herm talk the more he sounds like Quinn Snyder, and thats not a good thing. If he starts saying this team just needs to find itself we are in trouble.

The team doesn't need inspiration. It needs capable bodies playing on the line.
