SysFader wtf is it?

I get an application which pops up in the task manager for a second or two than goes away. Does not seem to hurt anything.

Googled the name and find a mish mash of comments, none of which answer the question.

The best I can tell it's not a virus but has something to do with MS.

I read the link and still don't know what it is as there is more than one thing suggested.

I have searched for spyware, adware and viruses and come up blank on all three, as I said so far I've not had any adverse reactions from this thing just would like to know wtf it is.

You inadvertantly deleted a program that your spyware detected without reviewing. It is one of several inherit in windows, so I couldn't guess which.

Sysfader is not a "bad" thing, it runs in conjunction with other processes that you eliminated.

Go to Properties
Go to Effects
Turn off Transitions.

You can also restore to a point prior to the error and re-run your spyware program being cautious not to delete until you are aware of what you are deleting.

Ok I'll give that a try.

Sometimes I don't know if all these bells and whistles are worth it, the old DOS days were much easer, kind of like a Modle T, pop the hood and fix it with a screw driver and stick of gum.

Well that didn't solve the problem, updated both my spyware and my virus protection reran both, took off somemore crap but still have the thing popping up from time to time.

So far I can't see where it is doing anything good or bad, nor have I found the answer to what it is, no one seems to know for sure.

Again, restore to a date prior to the issue.

Rerun your spyware, read every single thing you are deleting and what it is tied to.

That will solve your problem.
