Eagles ink a rookie running back

At a time when Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports has flagged the Eagles as having the worst complement of running backs in the league, they've added another.

The team announced this morning that Charles Scott, a sixth-round draft pick, has agreed to terms.

Scott played college football at LSU. He joins a depth chart that includes LeSean McCoy, Mike Bell, Eldra Buckley, Keithon Flemming, and Martrell Mallett.

Despite the collection of hard-to-recognize names (apart from McCoy and Bell), the reality is that plenty of guys can move the chains, if the team can provide competent blocking.

Having a passing game that keeps safeties out of the box doesn't hurt, either.

WTF? Are we going to have a thread when all the 250+ rookies sign. Why do we give a **** about other teams late round picks. I understand threads for the 1st rounders that sign, but this.....err..

I don't know, but McCoy, Bell and Scott seem like pretty trio of backs to me.

As to the question about the threads for every draft pick that signs, KcChiefsKing, why the hell not?

I mean what the hell else is going on?
