ESPN's Football Dream Team

Okay, ESPN is officially stupid. I looked at John Clayton's dream team where he lists the best possible players at their respective positions and the best possible backups. It really was a thing of stupidity. For instance...

While Chad Johnson was listed as a starting WR, his backup was (drum roll)....Dante Hall??? Santana Moss and Steve Smith were the other two starters (which is fine I suppose), but because they didn't pick the backups from a list of actual backups, I find it odd that there was no Terrell Owens, Randy Moss, or Larry Fitzgerald. I mean, if you're going to pick a WR from the Chiefs, why not go with Kennison?

Also, in the TE spot, missing was Crumpler, Gonzalez, and/or Witten. Basically, for some reason, Clayton had just about every San Diego Charger on his team. Also, not one Chief on the Offensive Line.

Here's the list; you can decide for yourself...

QB: Peyton Manning, Matt Schaub, Andrew Walter
RB: LaDanian Tomlinson, Marion Barber, Lendale White, Darren Sproles
WR1: Chad Johnson, Dante Hall
WR2: Steve Smith, Dave Tyree
WR3: Santana Moss, Roscoe Parrish
TE: Antonio Gates, Chris Cooley, Leonard Pope
LT: Walter Jones, Michael Roos, Marcus McNeil
LG: Eric Steinbach, Richie Incognito
C: Jeff Saturday, Chris Spencer
RG: Chris Snee, Richie Incognito
RT: Jammal Brown, Michael Roos, Marcus McNeil

I don't have time to list the defensive starters. But Jarred Allen was a 3rd stringer.

BTW, does Jarred Allen really only make $500,000??
Lots of those players are still on their rookie contracts. That is why they are so cheap. Allen, a 4th round pick, is still on his rookie contract as far as I know.

You played in a FFL with a FB position? No offense, but that's kind of stupid.
